Revolution Pro – a brand found in Superdrug with a drugstore price, yet a luxurious, high-end look. But does it have high-end quality to match? I tried one of their Supreme palettes to find out!

The Revolution Pro Supreme Palette in the shade ‘Intoxicate‘ is so photogenic that it is often featured on my Instagram feed, however I recently realised that I have never actually dedicated a full post to it on my blog.
I picked up this palette over a year ago now for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I really wanted to try out Revolution Pro, see what their quality is like, and for £6 I couldn’t resist. I was also on a hunt for a travel sized palette, since all my favourite palettes are pretty bulky. This one can slide into the tiniest of makeup bags, with durable packaging.
The palette features eight shades, of which five are matte, and three are shimmer – a ratio that I can really get on board with. Because it is the perfect size for  travel, it is important to me that I can create a full look using this palette alone and not be missing anything. Therefore, I’m really impressed by the range of shades this palette includes, a light beige and gorgeous rosy pink matte for an everyday look, with a deeper burgundy and dark brown for transitioning the look for evening wear, or perhaps just a more colourful look.
The shadows look really colourful in the pan, but do they live up to this on the eye? I am very happy to say that I am really impressed with their formula. The eyeshadows are really pigmented and easy to blend together. Sometimes in eye shadow palettes, the mattes are really impressive yet the shimmers fall flat, or vice versa, but Revolution Pro have really nailed the formula of both. The shimmers are really stunning and eye-catching, I especially love the lightest shimmer which has a gorgeous pink-toned shimmer in it that you wouldn’t expect in the pan.

I love how big the shadows are in the palette, there is plenty of product in there! However, one thing I do wish about this palette was that the shades had names, but this is often the case with a drugstore palette so I can’t be too disappointed.
For only £6, I think the Revolution Pro Supreme palette is an absolute steal. It definitely rivals the quality of my high-end palettes, to the point that I often find myself reaching for this one instead! If the warm tones of the Intoxicate palette are not for you, you’ll be pleased to know that Revolution Pro have three other palettes in their collection. ‘Captivate‘ has some gorgeous rose golds and browns for a more classic look (definitely will be the one I get next), ‘Allure‘ includes deep browns and a striking lilac shimmer, and ‘Bewitch‘ is very gold-toned.
Have you ever tried a Revolution Pro product? I would love to hear your thoughts!
