About two weeks ago I went to see The Vamps in concert. I was very excited as they are my favourite band – and they didn’t disappoint me.

Where and when did you see them?
I went to see them in Liverpool on Saturday, 4thOctober 2014.
Who was their support acts and what did you
think of them?
Their support acts were E Of E, Nina Nesbitt and Luke Friend. I had seen E Of E before when they supported McBusted too so I knew what they sounded like and they were quite good; they sang 4 songs, 3 original and 1 cover. Then there was Luke Friend, who I was a huge fan of on X Factor and he failed to disappoint me. The only disappointment was he only performed two songs but both originals so that was good. Nina Nesbitt was the final support act, I hadn’t heard of her but she was quite good too – also only performed two songs but that was alright as I was ready for The Vamps to come on by that point.

So, how were The Vamps?
The Vamps were beyond amazing! When the lights went dark, they showed the music video of Cecilia on the screens to get the crowd ready. They then came on and it was so exciting I even cried – not suprising as I’m very emotional! I was only disappointed in the fact they didn’t perform Shout About It, which I has seen on other show’s setlists but they didn’t perform it at our concert. Liverpool was actually their first ever headline arena – the earlier dates of the tour were all theatres – so it was even more exciting.
Favourite moments?
I want to say all of it! But I think when they came on at first, it was very exciting.

I was also blown away by Tristan’s drum solo – it was very impressive. I also enjoyed it when they performed Somebody To You and Luke Friend came on and sang the Demi Lovato part.

What was the setlist?
Wild Heart
Girls on TV
YouTube medley (Vegas Girl, When I was Your Man/Locked Out Of Heaven, Nobody To Love, I Knew You Were Trouble, Thrift Shop/Can’t Hold Us)
She Was The One
Somebody To You
Drum Solo
Last Night
An All Time Low cover which Connor took lead and Brad played drums – Tristan had a break
Move My Way – James took lead, Brad took a break
On The Floor/High Hopes

Would you go and see them again?
YES! I am actually going to see them next year at their arena tour so I can’t wait!
