As part of blogmas I wrote about my music favourites from 2017, so today I wanted to share my beauty favourites since there have been so many products I have absolutely loved this year! I am going to be rounding up my favourites that I have discovered or have been released in 2017 – obviously there are some favourites that I have still loved from the year before but today I’m going to round up everything new from 2017.

I was never much of a liquid foundation wearer until this year, when I discovered the L’Oreal True Match foundation and now use it all the time! It just matches perfectly with my skin tone and feels amazing. I have definitely converted from powder foundation to liquid this year – I still go back from time to time but the L’Oreal foundation is a firm fave for me.

I had wanted to try Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer for a long time and 2017 was the year I did that very thing. I was worried that it would end up being to dark or orange toned for my pale skin tone but is actually the perfect shade, providing the most gorgeous contoured look.

I was torn between which of my Urban Decay Naked palettes – the Ultimate Basics or The Heat – would make the cut for my favourites this year. Although I love them both a whole lot, since I got the Naked Heat in September I have hardly had a break from wearing it. I’m sure now I got the Smoky for Christmas I’ll give it a bit of a rest, but it honestly is such a ‘me’ palette with its beautiful burgundy shades and I just can’t beat it.

A late favourite, but a good one, was the MAC pigments that I got in the Snowball Christmas set. In particular, the shade Vanilla is absolutely gorgeous, especially as an inner corner or brow bone highlight. Mascara wise my favourite of the year is the L’Oreal Baby Roll mascara which provides gorgeous curl to your lashes. I do love the Benefit mascaras but at a fraction of the price this one is just as good.

Onto my lip favourites – in my opinion the most exciting part! I seem to remember raving about MAC lipsticks in my 2016 favourites and I can tell you that nothing has changed! One MAC lipstick I purchased this year is Honey Love, the most gorgeous light nude shade that is perfect for everyday, or with a darker eye look.

I finally purchased a Too Faced Melted Matte this year, in the shade Child Star and overall I think this one is my lipstick of the year. It’s a beautiful shade, incredibly long lasting and I honestly couldn’t fault it.
My final favourite is my Gigi Hadid X Maybelline lipstick in the shade Erin. I was so excited when they released a lipstick called my name and even more excited when I tried it. It’s a really pretty, almost burgundy colour, perfect for when you want a little darker lip and feels ahhhmazing on the lips, it really does!
