I am always so excited when Pixi launch a new collection, and the Rose Bodytreats range is no exception. Known for their incredible skincare and makeup ranges, Pixi have recently ventured into all things bodycare with a hydrating, rose-scented collection.
The collection consists of three products, all centered around hydration and nourishment to provide the perfect body-care routine. Their key ingredients are: rose flower oil, to moisturise and restore, rosehip oil to smooth and condition, lavender to calm and soothe, fruit extracts to exfoliate and brighten, and finally shea butter to nourish and lock in moisture. All in all, this sounds like a fabulous combination to ensure your skin is moisturised and nourished to perfection!
Step 1 and 2 are for in-shower use; first is the Rose Body Cleanser, a nourishing body wash. It’s quite a creamy cleanser, so it is very soft to use on the skin. It has a lovely, long-lasting scent; as to be expected, it has hints of rose which feels very fresh and not overpowering in the slightest.
Following the cleanser is the Rose Body Polish, a sugar scrub which is very gentle on the skin. It exfoliates without feeling harsh and its jelly-like formula is very easy to apply. Its biggest claim is that it leaves skin feeling ‘silky smooth’ and it certainly does its job well!
The final step of Pixi’s rose-scented body-care routine is the Rose Body Balm. It’s a body moisturiser with a very similar scent to the cleanser, complimenting each other very well. It blends into the skin very easily and doesn’t leave any kind of greasy feel because of its creamy, lightweight formula.
Although bodycare is new to Pixi, the Rose Bodytreats range fits into some of Pixi’s core skincare products, such as the rose ceramide cream and rose tonic; it has a similar packaging and scent. They’ve built on their other bestsellers to create an amazing body collection – Pixi have proven here they can master bodycare just as well as skincare!
